Introducing William L. Fitz
Director | Film-maker | Producer
Fitz began his journey in entertainment through acting, appearing in productions like The Last of Us. Over time, he expanded his role in the film world by stepping into cinematography and directing, where he found his stride as a visual storyteller. As a camera operator and director of photography, Fitz has contributed to various indie and fantasy projects.
His visual expertise led as one of the contributors to Lords of Gold, where he helped shape its striking imagery and atmospheric tone as a key cinematographer. Fitz’s work on Lords of Gold helped pioneer one of the first looks and sets a standard for high-quality indie cinematography.
In addition to his film-making career, William Fitz is also the founder of his own talent agency, where he actively represents, casts, and develops talent across media. His entrepreneurial spirit and understanding of both technical and performance sides of production allow him to guide projects from conception to completion.
Fitz has also been an integral collaborator with Colin Bass from Anime Fire, contributing to convention coordination, fan-engagement strategies, and creative production on Dragon Ball Multiverse-inspired films and other anime-based projects. Through this partnership, Fitz has played a vital part in organizing community events, managing behind-the-scenes logistics, and lending his film-making skills to fan projects that celebrate anime culture.
